DHSS: 37 More Cases In Crawford County

Crawford County’s number of COVID-19 cases increased by 37 last week, jumping from 142 to 179. 

This is a 24 percent increase.

Crawford County had not reported any new deaths as of Sunday.

Another 8,000-plus cases were reported across the state last week.

On Sunday, DHSS said another 1,465 people were diagnosed with the virus.

There have been 83,655 lab-confirmed cases. This is up from 75,075 on Aug. 23.

Deaths now total 1,508 after 12 were reported Sunday. DHSS said 82 people died in the last week.

More than 1,000 people are hospitalized across the state, up from last week when there were 957.

The seven-day positivity rate on PCR tests went up again, rising to 12.5 percent. 

It was 11.5 percent the previous week.

The percentage of all patients who have tested positive via PCR went from 8.2 percent to 8.5 percent.

Missouri has PCR tested 974,237 individuals.

Counties

Gasconade County has seen a 90 percent increase in cases over the last week, the highest seven-day increase among any county in the state.

Last week, Gasconade had 46 cases, but that number has risen to 94.

Franklin County continues to see a rapid rise in the number of cases, going over 1,000 on Sunday.

As of Monday, there were 1,021 with 21 deaths. 

Dent County is up to 38 cases, adding seven over the last week.

Iron County has increased from 40 to 48.

Phelps County surpassed 200 cases and as of Sunday, stood at 208. There were 151 cases as of Aug. 23

Washington County rose to 237 cases. The county was reporting 191 the previous week.
