Cuba Man Charged With Assaulting Pedestrian

A Cuba man faces an assault charge after he allegedly punched a pedestrian walking along Highway H.
The suspect is on probation for stealing a firearm and tampering with a motor vehicle.
According to the probable cause statement, the suspect exited a truck around 10:48 a.m. on Feb. 20, struck the victim with a closed fist, got back into the truck and left the scene.
The reporting party described a t-shirt the suspect was wearing and his tattoos.
