County’s General Revenue Fell 12% In March
Crawford County’s general revenue dropped 12% year-over-year, according to the latest report.
The county collected $162,066.86, down from last March’s $185,308.35 haul.
It also was slightly down from March 2019 when the county brought in $167,106.77.
Crawford County revenue remains up from the same point last year thanks to strong spending in January and February.
Collection began the year down 12% year-over-year in December, then bounced 31% in January and nearly 10% in February.
Through the first four months of 2021, the county has received $714,478.46.

The law enforcement and capital improvement sales taxes were down by 11% year-over-year.
The county brought in $77,103.63, a decrease from last March’s $87,405.66.
Through 2021, the county has collected $345,484 for the two funds.
