Christopher Allen Cronk, 42, of Sullivan, MO, known affectionately as Chris to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Born on June 9, 1981, in Herington, KS, to Kenneth and Vicki (Stough) Cronk, Chris's journey through life was marked by his kindness, creativity, and selfless nature.

Growing up in Owensville, MO, Chris attended local schools and graduated from Owensville High School in 1999. His strong work ethic was evident from a young age, and he quickly found his calling in the construction industry. Chris was particularly skilled in drywalling, a craft he honed with precision and pride. His dedication to his work was paralleled only by his commitment to his family.

Chris's life was enriched by the joy of fatherhood. He was a father to three wonderful children: Chance, Grant, and Marissa. His family grew even larger when he married Heather Littrell on February 11, 2014, and lovingly embraced her children, Shelby and Benjamin, as his own. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories.

Music was the soundtrack of Chris's life. His immense passion for music was evident to all who knew him. He enjoyed all types of music and found solace and joy in playing the drums and the harmonica. His musical talent was just one of the many ways he expressed his creative spirit.

Chris's interests extended beyond music. He was an avid fisherman, finding peace and tranquility by the water's edge. His love for gardening allowed him to nurture life in the soil, just as he nurtured the lives of those around him. Chris also had a talent for drawing and sketching, capturing the beauty of the world as he saw it through his art.

Those who knew Chris will remember him for his huge heart. He consistently placed the needs of others before his own, offering help and support without hesitation. As a brother, he was loving and fiercely protective, a trait that he carried into adulthood, always there for his sisters in times of need.

Chris's sense of humor was a light in the lives of many. His quick wit and ability to find humor in everyday situations brought smiles to the faces of those around him. He was a creative and funny individual who could always be counted on to lift the spirits of his friends and family.

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Heather; his children:  Chance Cronk, Grant Cronk, & Marissa Cronk all of California, Shelby Emily & Benjamin Emily both of Sullivan, MO; a grandchild, Ashton; his mother Vicki Stough of Bourbon, MO; his siblings:  Brandy Remmers of Pilsen, KS, Angela Martin of Wellsville, MO, and Dan Cronk and wife, T.J. of Herington, KS; his grandmother, Roberta Arnold of Sullivan; 6 nieces & nephews: Tanner, Alex, Emilee, Gracie, Averie & Bianca; his mother-in-law, Gay Davis of St. James, MO; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
