County Reports 49 COVID-19 Related Deaths

The Washington School District announced Sunday night that a middle school student died from COVID-19 complications.
Franklin County said an 89-year-old St. Clair woman has died due in part to COVID-19, the 47th resident to die from the virus.
Franklin County has seen a surge of COVID-19 cases in long-term care facilities.
The county health department reported Tuesday there are now 92 active cases in those facilities.
Franklin County reported Sunday that two more people have died due in part to COVID-19.
The latest fatalities bring the total to 44.
