Seven New Cases Reported, Active Cases Rise To 40

There were seven new cases of COVID-19 reported Thursday in Franklin County, raising the total number of active cases to 40.

This is the first time active cases have been at 40 since May 11.

Five of the new cases are in Pacific and two in Washington.

The newest cases in Pacific are three females — ages 24, 27 and 40. There are two males — ages 46 and 62. 

The cases in Washington are two females — ages 23 and 42.

Franklin County did not report any new recoveries or deaths.

Of the 40 cases, 15 are in skilled nursing facilities.

Since March 23, there have been 199 cases overall. There have been 36 new cases in the last two weeks.
