Franklin County Reports Three New Cases From Testing Event

Franklin County reported Wednesday that 10 people tested positive during a three-day event at the Washington Fairgrounds from June 13-15.

There were 308 people tested.

Five of the cases were from Jefferson or St. Louis counties.

Two of the cases were patients Franklin County had already identified and three new cases were diagnosed.

The three patients are all Lonedell residents, identified as a male and female, both 50-years-old, and a 6-year-old male.

Two more patients have recovered, including a 21-year-old Pacific man and 22-year-old St. Clair woman.

There are 25 active cases, with 12 in skilled nursing facilities and 13 residing elsewhere in the county. 

Fourteen of the active cases are in Union.
