Four New Cases, Two Recoveries Reported

Four more cases of COVID-19 and two recoveries were reported Thursday morning by Franklin County.

The newest cases are two males from Union — ages 17 and 38; a 17-year-old Catawissa female and a 64-year-old Villa Ridge woman.

A 42-year-old Washington woman and 64-year-old Gerald man recovered.

The number of cases since March 23 stands at 210. There have been 157 recoveries and 18 deaths.

Active cases are at 35.

Presiding Commissioner Tim Brinker said the county will not impose a mandatory mask rule, saying that "we will continue to support the choice of the individual to keep themselves and others as safe as possible with their lifestyle choices."
