County Reports Four New Cases, Four Recoveries

Franklin County reported Monday morning there were four new COVID-19 cases over the weekend and that four patients recovered.

There have been 204 cases since March 23 and 38 remain active. Of those, 15 are in skilled nursing facilities and 23 reside elsewhere.

Eighteen deaths have been reported.

The newest cases are two males from Pacific — ages 22 and 70.

A 57-year-old Union woman and 20-year-old Gerald-Leslie-Beaufort male also were reported.

Since June 21, there have been 13 new cases. Active cases briefly rose to 40 for the first time since mid-May.
