County Reports 42nd COVID-19-Related Death

Franklin County reported that an 86-year-old Washington man has died due in part to COVID-19.

He is the 42nd county resident to die from the disease.

Ten deaths have been reported since Wednesday, Oct. 21.

The county reported 36 new cases and the number continues to grow in nursing homes.

There are now 51 cases there.

Hospitalizations dropped to 14.

The 10-day rolling total is 366 and the 14-day average of new cases is 36.43.

The positivity rate is 6.74% and 8.99% over the last 14 days.
