19 New Cases Reported, Recoveries Unchanged

There were 19 new COVID-19 cases in Franklin County on Thursday, with recoveries staying unchanged.

The newest batch of cases raises the active number to 121. Of those, 113 reside outside long term care facilities and eight within.

No new deaths were reported and three people are hospitalized.

Franklin County also is reporting hospitalizations within the Mercy Hospital system and Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital.

“We continue to strive to provide the most complete and accurate information available,” said Abraham Cook, director of Franklin County’s Emergency Management Agency.

The five-day average of new cases is 11.8 and the positivity rate is 3.48 percent.

Franklin County has had 488 cases since March 23 with 349 recoveries.
