A sobriety checkpoint was successfully conducted on Saturday night, February 27, 2010 at the intersection of Hwy AT and Hwy O in Franklin County. In total, there were 8 DWI arrests, 4 Minors in Possession, 1 Zero Tolerance arrest, 2 driving while suspended/revoked driver’s license citation, 5 additional warrant arrests, and many other miscellaneous violations. Captain Ronald S. Johnson, commanding officer of Troop C, Weldon Spring, is pleased to announce the results of the Operation P.R.O.T.E.C.T. project that was conducted on Thurs., Jan. 21 in Franklin County on Highway 100. During the eight-hour project, eight troopers focused their attention on violations that occurred in the construction/work zone on Highway 100, east of Washington.
