The Sports Trivia Night is hosted by the Sullivan Eagles Sports Boosters and sponsored by First State Community Bank. The trivia night will be held on Sat., Feb. 11 at the Sullivan Eagles Hall (small hall).
A pregame and tailgate food auction will begin at 6 p.m., with trivia night set to start at 7 p.m. A cash bar and setups will be provided.

The Sullivan Athletic Club is registering children and adults at this time for January programs in a wide range of classes.
•Tracy’s Tumbling Class – Starts boys and girls 3 to 5 years old.
•Gymnastics – Beginning to advanced classes are offered to kids 6 and older. Tracy has been teaching gymnastics and cheer at the club for over 15 years. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Fifth-seeded Sullivan rallied on Monday night in the opening round of the St. James Tournament to beat Hillsboro 54-51.
Sullivan trailed by 10 points entering the fourth quarter and were down by as many as 11 in the third quarter, but the Hawks watched the Eagles blow up with a 17-0 run.
Patrick Moody led Sullivan with 15 points, while Justin Biermann added 12. Uriah Heady had nine and Adam Weiland scored eight.

Avenging a 27-point loss in the season’s opening game, Sullivan upset second-seeded Eureka 36-34 in the third-place game of the Union Tournament on Saturday night.
Sierra Pryor hit a late 3-pointer to put the Lady Eagles ahead.
Sullivan had a chance to appear in the championship game for the second straight year, but could not close the deal against Borgia on Friday night. Borgia won 36-33 in a rematch of last February’s district championship game.

Sullivan won their fourth straight game on Friday night, upsetting the Rolla Bulldogs 58-55 in Rolla.
It completed a terrific week for the Eagles, who have taken five of their last six contests.
The Eagles (8-6) head off to St. James next week for the annual St. James Tournament. Sullivan finished seventh there in 2011.

The Eagles are on a roll.
On Tuesday night, Sullivan (7-6) moved past the Salem Tigers with a 59-49 win, the team’s third straight.
It’s the first time since Dec. 2 the Eagles have been above the .500 mark.
It came on the heels of an overtime victory the night before, when the Eagles had a comeback victory over St. James.

Behind 12 points from Taylor Lucas, Sullivan (7-2) won its sixth straight game, 36-22, over Waynesville in the team’s first game of the Rolla Lady Bulldogs Invitational last Wednesday.
Sullivan, out of action since Dec. 19, avenged an early December loss to Waynesville where they lost by just four points.
The Lady Eagles were grouped in the maroon pool of the tournament along with Hickman, which defeated Sullivan in the championship game last season.

Almost 24 hours after a tense battle against Pacific, the Eagles returned to the court against Hermann and quietly put the Bearcats away.
Sullivan won third place at the 23rd annual Owensville Tournament with a 47-41 over the second-seeded Bearcats, who were coming off a draining 57-55 double overtime loss to Cuba the night before.

Sullivan won their second straight game, topping St. James 53-48 on Monday night in Sullivan. It was Sullivan’s first home game since Dec. 16.
The Eagles (6-6) had to make a comeback in the fourth quarter, then hold back St. James (8-3) in overtime.
