Spring Bluff Kindergarten students and teachers celebrated the 100th day of school and “B” week by releasing balloons, courtesy of fellow kindergarten student, Gavin Mabe.

The eighth graders from St. Anthony School and PSR teamed up with other catholic schools from Franklin County this past week to participate in the Pro-Life March in Washington, D.C. Sullivan Elementary Students have the opportunity to come to the library on Tuesday evenings, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., to read and check out books, take computer quizzes or receive help on homework or research projects. This is an opportunity for students that enjoy spending time at the library, or need some extra help, now have an extra time to take advantage. One of the first days back to school looked like a pretty sad one for little Evvie; maybe it was just too early to even smile. Hugging her “Show and Tell” doll surely brought her the comfort she needed. Evvie brought smiles to many faces at St. Anthony School the day she wore her new shoes.

Featured in this spotlight are Dalton Goodman, Dylan Harmon, and Christopher Shcreit. Dalton Andrew Goodman is the son of Tracy Goodman and Angela Goodman and brother to Tyler. Dalton has attended Spring Bluff since kindergarten and admits Mr. Matthew League is his favorite teacher, favorite class, and will miss science class and recess next year. The Geography Bee at St. Anthony School  contained some very difficult and challenging questions, but it took place without a glitch.  The winners from Grades 4-8 were involved in the Geo Bee, with ten students participating. Students were eliminated from the bee depending on whether they could respond correctly to the intriguing questions. Mrs. Stumpe and Mrs. Blanton’s kindergarten classes celebrated the beginning of 2012 on Jan. 4, their first day of school in the new year.

Sullivan Elementary School November and December Flashing Stars/Lunch with Principal Pictures. November’s lunch was donated by Taco Bell and December by Domino’s. Also we appreciate Meramec Nursing for donating goody bags for these students as well.
