Missouri Highway Patrol Weekly Arrest Report

The Missouri Highway Patrol, Troop C, made nine arrests in Franklin County for the week of Dec. 31-Jan. 5.
Kayla L. Spurgeon, 23, Sullivan, was arrested Tues., Jan.1, on the patrol charge of driving while intoxicated. Spurgeon was held and later released on a court summons.
Terry L. Bell, 56, St. Clair, was arrested Wed., Jan. 2, on the patrol charges of felony driving while revoked, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and Franklin County warrants for driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and operating a vehicle without tail lights. Bell was held at the Franklin County jail.
Benjamin P. Cherry, 24, Sullivan, was arrested Wednesday on Franklin County warrants for displaying the plates of another and failure to appear in court on the charge of wildlife violation.
Joseph W. Laure, 27, Marthasville, was arrested Wednesday on the patrol charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and driving while suspended. Laure was held and later released.
Matthew R. Walton, 22, Sullivan, was arrested Thursday on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on the charge of failure to register a motor vehicle. Walton was held at the Franklin County jail.
Joseph D. Weatherby, 20, Pacific, was arrested Thursday on a St. Louis County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of possession of dangerous drugs, and a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of driving while revoked. Weatherby was held without bond.
Craig M. Williams, 26, Maroa, IL, was arrested Friday on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of traffic violations. Williams was held at the Franklin County jail.
Samantha L. Martin, 32, Springfield, was arrested Saturday on the patrol charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, felony probation and parole violation and interstate absconder possessing stolen property. Martin was held without bond at the Franklin County jail.
Julie B. Landwehr, 49, Sullivan, was arrested Saturday on the charge of driving while intoxicated. Landwehr was released later on a court summons.
