Franklin County Deputies Respond to Report of Property Damage at Calvary Pentecostal Church and Reported Physical Domestic Involving a Firearm in Sullivan

On November 10, 2012 at approximately 3:34pm; Franklin County Deputies responded to the Calvary Pentecostal Church located on American Inn Road in Villa Ridge; for a report of property damage.  Upon arrival, Deputies met with Church members who discovered damage to the exterior windows of church which was caused by rocks and poles being thrown against them.  They further discovered that someone had forcibly entered a recreational building and storage building.  While inside, unknown suspects caused significant property damage to the structure, interior, plumbing, and furnishings.  They further damaged lawn and maintenance equipment. The extent of the damage is not known at this time; however, it is believed to be several thousand dollars. On November 11, 2012 at approximately 11:40am, Franklin Deputies were responding to the 4000 block of Hwy H north of Sullivan for a reported physical domestic involving a firearm.  It was reported that a male suspect had fired a 12 gauge shotgun at his son.  The suspect had allegedly threatened to shoot incoming Deputies as well as himself. Deputies began establishing containment of the area and activated the Sheriff’s Office SWAT team to respond.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to assist. While Deputies were establishing containment, they learned that a family member of the suspect had picked up the suspect prior to the Deputies arrival on-scene.  The family member drove the suspect to the Sullivan Police Department, where he surrendered to Deputies.  48 year old Floyd Huskey was arrested and transported to the Franklin County Jail.  He has been charged with first degree domestic assault.  Bond has been set at $50,000.00.
