First Community National Bank Brings New Look to Building

The Sullivan Financial Center of First Community National Bank is receiving a new and fresh look. Remodeling of the exterior façade of the building, located at #1 First Community Plaza, began in August 2012. The updated features will include new energy-efficient doors and windows, an updated entry way and a more modern look and feel for bank customers.
“We are pleased to be investing in the Sullivan community,” commented Kem Schwieder, Senior Lender for FCNB, who is heading up the construction project. “This is the first remodel of the exterior we have completed since the original expansion of the building in the 1991. It is time for a new look.”
Tiedemann & Associates, based out of Villa Ridge, Missouri, is the design and architectural firm behind the construction. Local contractors, including Schlueter & Crump Construction and Central Electric, are being utilized to conduct the majority of projects. “We felt it was very important to use our local contractors to complete this project,” Schwieder says. “We want to give back to the community that has given so much to us.”
The construction is scheduled to be completed in early 2013. Improvements will also be made to the tenant spaces that line the plaza. When all of the new touches are complete, the customers of FCNB can expect to have a new, updated building – but always the same friendly, warm faces there to help. Member FDIC.
