Church Targeted In Property Damage

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department was notified on November 10, at 3:34 p.m. for property damage at Calvary Pentecostal Church, located off American Inn Rd., Villa Ridge, for property damage.
Deputies arrived at the church and met with church officials who discovered damage to the exterior windows of the church which was caused by rocks and poles being thrown against them. They further discovered that someone had forcibly entered a recreational building and storage building.
While inside, unknown suspects caused significant property damage to the structure, interior, plumbing and furnishings. Also damaged was lawn and maintenance equipment.
Toelke reported that at this time the e!)xtent of the damage was estimated in the several thousand dollar range.
