Strain-Japan School was alive with holiday music on Wed., Dec. 7. The music department presented “Dear Santa,” a Christmas musical about Santa’s desperate attempts to arrive safely at everyone’s house on Christmas Eve.
The fifth through eighth grade Honor Choir sang a varied repertoire of Christmas songs ending with “Santa Clause is Just a Good Ole’ Boy.” At the conclusion of the program, Santa sat on the stage beautifully decorated by Ms. Gloria “Deet” Bedrosian and listened as many of the children told him their wishes for Christmas.
All those in attendance enjoyed cookies and punch following the program.
