Wyoma Missey

Wyoma Missey was born on January 21, 1927 in Bourbon, MO, the daughter of the late Frank Burnett and Nan Burnett. She passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the age of 83 in Bourbon.
Wyoma received her education in Bourbon and graduated from high school in 1945. She was employed for many years at the Bourbon Family Center.
Wyoma was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Stanton, and the Sullivan Eagles.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Terri Straatmann and husband, Gary, of Union, MO, Steven Lough of St. Louis, MO and Eric Shults and wife, Christine, of Rolla, MO; five great-grandchildren, Josh, Paul, Blake, Lauren, and Steven; one sister, Pauline Todd of Bourbon; one brother, Owen Garrett of St. Louis, MO; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by special friend, Jim Clark.
Funeral services for Wyoma Missey were held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Stanton in Stanton, with Pastor Harry Pryor offciating. Burial was private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Stanton or to SMTS Bus Service.
