The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department are looking for Jeremy Treis, who has been the target of a manhunt since Friday morning.
On Friday, the department attempted to stop a stolen vehicle driven by Treis. After a brief chase, he fled the vehicle on foot. A search of the immediate and surrounding areas was conducted, but Treis was not located.
On Saturday, deputies with the sheriff’s department took a burglary report where numerous firearms were stolen. The burglary occurred in close proximity to the last known location of Treis.
Treis has several warrants and is considered armed and dangerous. If anyone knows his whereabouts, do not try to contact him. Call the sheriff’s department at 573-775-2125 or after hours, contact Central Communications at 573-775-4911 or by dialing 911.
