4-H members must complete project paperwork in order to complete the 4-H year. Those who complete the year will receive a completion medal for the number of years they have completed. First year members will receive a first year pin, second year members will receive a second year pin, and so on.
The county rules that you signed when you enrolled specify the minimum requirements a member must meet in order to receive a completion medal. Among the requirements is the completion of at least one project, including the paperwork.
Special note for livestock project members: Members who were enrolled in a beef, sheep or swine project this past year, must complete the paperwork for those projects in order to be eligible to see at the 2011 Washington Town and Country Fair.
Special note for teens: Teens must turn in the paperwork to complete the 2009-2010 4-H year to remain eligible to apply to be a 2011 4-H camp counselor.
