William Quick of Sullivan, MO, formerly of Labadie, passed away on July 12, 2010 in Fenton, MO at the age of 85 years.
Mr. Quick, son of the late William Quick and wife, Eliza, nee Harrison was born on August 14, 1924 in Dixon, MO.
On May 26, 1950, he was united in marriage to Glenna Wilson in Valley Park, MO.
He was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Villa Ridge for 16 years.
Mr. Quick worked at Laclede Gas Company until his retirement.
William is survived by his wife, Glenna Quick of Sullivan; two sons, David Quick and wife, Patricia, of Jefferson City and Mark Douglas Quick of San Diego, CA; one daughter, Nell Schneider and husband, Harry, of Sullivan; one granddaughter, Nicki Record and husband, Ryan, of Sullivan; two great-granddaughters, Abigail Record and Allison Record; beloved dog, Little Bit; one brother, Claude “Bill” Quick and wife, Maxine, of Union; nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eliza Quick; one brother, James Ansel Quick; two sisters, Caroline Reeves and Dean Kern; and two sisters in infancy, Icephine Quick and Margie Quick.
Visitation for William Quick was held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Midlawn Funeral Home, Union, MO.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, Villa Ridge, with Pastor Singleton officiating. Interment was in Midlawn Memorial Gardens, Union, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Calvary Pentecostal Church, 238 American Inn Rd., Villa Ridge, MO 63089 are preferred.
