Mabel E. Frost of O’Fallon, MO, formerly of Bourbon, MO, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the age of 89 years.
Mabel was born on October 12, 1920 in Fredericktown, MO to Frank and Grace (Murray) Berry. She was raised in St. Louis, MO and on May 22, 1949 was married to Leo J. Frost and to this marriage a son was born.
Mabel and Leo came to the Bourbon area upon his retirement where they attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Leo preceded Betty in death in May of 2001.
Mabel enjoyed playing Bridge and gardening in her free time.
She is survived by a son, Jim Frost and wife, Florence, of O’Fallon, MO; two grandchildren, James and Jeffery Frost; five great-grandchildren, Stephanie Frost, James Frost, III, Daniel Frost, Margaret Frost and Maxwell Frost; one great-great-grandchild, Gavin Collins; a brother, Lee Berry of St. Charles, MO; other relatives and friends.
Along with her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Froehlich, Jean Schrader and Loraine McClendon.
Private family services were held on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Eaton Funeral Home, Sullivan, MO.  Interment was in the Bourbon Cemetery, Bourbon, MO.
