A large portion of what is known as Whites Bluff near Campbell Bridge on Highway N, Bourbon, fell late Saturday night, July 10. The portion fell partially on the bank and into the river and was described as an “explosion sound” at 11 p.m. on Saturday. According to residents, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources was investigating the partial bluff collapse.
