April 22 was a very special day for Bourbon High School. It was the day that an American flag was raised high above the baseball and softball fields.
Teddy Binkholder, Bourbon High student, said, “It was a rewarding experience. I liked it a lot.”
Having this flag present at our school lets students get the opportunity to involve themselves with their country and to become more patriotic.
At the flagpole dedication, the Knights of Columbus and CAP members honored our country by raising the American flag properly on the newly established flagpole.
One of these members was Justin Klocke, a Bourbon High School student.
“It was a very fun and rewarding experience. I’m proud I did it and I hope people realize the real reason that we did it,” Klocke said.
