Dennis J. Ledbetter of Sullivan, MO passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the age of 51 years.
Dennis was born on November 6, 1958 in Essex, MO to Herbert James and Helen (Fitts) Ledbetter. He was raised in that area and later graduated high school there. For a time, Dennis worked for the railroad where he tested and inspected the rails. Later, he became a Certified Medication Technician for long-term healthcare facilities. He was employed in this position until ill health caused his early retirement.
In 1989, he met the love of his life, Juliea Wibble and on August 12, 2000 they were united in marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Juliea, of the family home; Darren J. Ledbetter of Dexter, MO; a stepson, Michael Bongino of Washington, DC; a daughter, Amy L. Ledbetter of Bloomfield, MO; a stepdaughter, Mary Ann Bongino of the state of Virginia; his stepmother, Billie Ledbetter of Essex, MO; two grandchildren, Brenda and Dillon; and Laurie Friedman, whom he loved as his own.
Visitation for Mr. Ledbetter was held from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from the Chapel of the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, MO, with Mr. James Eaton officiating. Cremation followed the services.
