Bourbon S.D.A Tour Of The Capitol

jeff-city-44The students from Bourbon Seventh-day Adventist School recently toured the Capitol building in Jefferson City. It was the first time for most of the students to visit the Capitol.
I learned that the capitol has a lot of pictures and has four floors.

I learned that the Capitol building has the widest inside staircase in the world.

I learned that there have been three capitol buildings all together - the other two were destroyed by fire.

I saw a lot of art and statues and I learned that the current building was built in 1917.

I think that the whole capitol is a piece of art. I also learned that the governor lives nearby.
