Early spring took Tacony Manufacturing to a new level. Expanding their product lines and the slight economic upswing helped create 18 new positions.
Additionally, Central Ozarks Private Industry Council (COPIC) placed five youths and one displaced worker at their facility. Each individual in the program was clearly told that these are not temporary jobs, but an opportunity for full-time positions.
Twenty-four new jobs—in small town USA, St. James, that’s huge!
It’s so important that Tacony employees and those at COPIC be recognized by the State of Missouri for their contribution in getting people back to work.
Tacony’s participation in Hire a Hero should also be noted. Their associates struggled through 18 months of rough economic times sacrificing raises and other incentives to keep Tacony strong.
