Longtime Bourbon Resident And Former Business Owner Fatally Injured

A longtime resident of the Bourbon community and former owner of Redwood Manor, Landon Rd., was fatally injured in a single vehicle accident on Highway JJ, two miles south of Bourbon, Friday, at 4:35 p.m.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Troop I, Rolla, the accident occurred when Beverly J. Jones, 69, Bourbon, operating a southbound 2005 Acura, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a driveway and vaulted. The vehicle then overturned into a creek bed. Jones was pronounced fatally injured at the accident scene.
Jones and husband Ola E. Jones, were the former owners of Redwood Manor and founded OBJ Inc. with the Missouri Secretary of States Office in 1993.
Jones was a well respected member of her community.
