Esther Pruddence (Schwart) Reichard of Sullivan, MO passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the age of 87 years.
Esther was born on August 30, 1922 in St. Louis, MO to Ernst and Nora (Hodge) Schwart, one of two daughters. After graduating high school, Esther worked at several jobs between St. Louis and Sullivan.
She is known most in Sullivan where, for 18-1/2 years, she was the owner and operator of the Treasure Chest Gift Shop.
She is survived by her close friends, Mina and Don Eaton of Sullivan, and her many friends at the LifeCare Center of Sullivan.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Reichard; a brother, Ray Schwart; and her sister, Elinor Swanson.
Funeral services for Esther Reichard will be private.
