East Central College is sponsoring an adult baseball coaching clinic on Mon., May 3 in the gymnasium from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The clinic is designed to give the coach ideas on how to teach fundamental baseball. Topics will include grips and throwing techniques, hitting, bunting and defense. Drills for each segment will be discussed. Participants will need to bring pencil and paper.

The instructor is retired baseball coach Bill Seamon. Seamon coached at Owensville High School and has been inducted into the Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He serves on the executive committee of the National High School Baseball Coaches Association.

He received a Distinguished Service Award from MSHSAA as a coach and as an official for his dedication to young athletes.
