A ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration was held on Thursday in downtown Sullivan as Celebrations Party Supplies & More opened at 114 West Euclid.
The business is owned by Danielle Aberle and Kendra Bylo and is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The business has been in the development and construction phase since Feb. 1, with renovations going on in the 1,600 sq. ft. business.
“We really felt there was a need in Sullivan for this type of business,” said co-owner Bylo.
“Everybody has been very positive about our business and excited about the business being in Sullivan. We’ve already received several phone calls,” said Aberle.
The business prides itself in providing everything needed to create the very best celebration.
Their merchandise includes party supplies for birthdays, showers, graduations, holidays, weddings and more. The supplies include theme and solid tableware, coordinating invitations and thank you cards, party favors, accessories and balloons. They also provide on site decorating as well.
“If you are looking for something and we don’t have it, we can special order it and have it quickly,” said Bylo.
The business already has plans to expand their selection of items in the near future to include special gift items, such as balloon bouquets with delivery.
Danielle Aberle is married to husband, David, and they have four children, Nick, Nathaniel, Cole and Christopher. The family resides in David’s childhood home in Spring Bluff. Danielle is employed with BJC Missouri Baptist Hospital, Sullivan, as an x-ray technologist.
Kendra Bylo is married to husband, Andy, and they have three children, Madison, Tyler and Alexis. The family resides in Spring Bluff and Kendra and Andy are also both real estate agents with Coldwell Banker Reeves Realty.
