A sobriety checkpoint was successfully conducted on Saturday night, February 27, 2010 at the intersection of Hwy AT and Hwy O in Franklin County.  In total, there were 8 DWI arrests, 4 Minors in Possession, 1 Zero Tolerance arrest, 2 driving while suspended/revoked driver’s license citation, 5 additional warrant arrests, and many other miscellaneous violations.  A total of 342 vehicles were stopped.

The checkpoint was conducted at the intersection of Hwy AT and Hwy O.  Deputies from several sections participated in the checkpoint to include Detention, Communications, Sheriff’s Office Reserve, and Road Patrol
