Edna Alice Caldwell, 81, of Owensville, MO died on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City.
Edna was born in Leslie, MO on March 23, 1928, daughter of the late Addie F. (Crews) and Julius Oscar Fortner. She was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan.
She is survived by two daughters, Krista Hardecke and husband, Ron, of Owensville and Karen Schmidt of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Nellie Nelson of Sullivan and Lucille Wilcox of Bland; and by four grandchildren, Jim, Rachel, Anna and Laura.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Caldwell; brothers,
Earl, Elmer, Jim, Willie and Leroy; and sisters, Francis and Edith.
Funeral services for Edna Caldwell were held on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Temple Baptist Church in Sullivan, with the Rev. Scott Perry officiating. Interment was in the Reedville Cemetery near Sullivan.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Gottenstroeter Funeral Home in Owensville, MO.
