Dollar General may be headed to Bourbon.
At the Bourbon Board of Aldermen last Tuesday night, the Bourbon Community Development Corporation reached an agreement with the city that would bring the existing water and sewer system to the former MoDOT property it bought in 2007.
Dollar General would then purchase a plot of land from BCDC to construct a store in Bourbon.
The deal between BCDC and Bourbon will cost the city $18,000.
