Filings For Local Government And School Board’s Complete

Filing for local government and school boards was completed Tuesday, Jan. 19.
In the City of Sullivan Alderman Ward One, Tom Leasor will run unopposed while incumbent Alderman Ward Two Paul McCulloch will face George Dodson.
In Ward Three, incumbent Jarrett Dace will be challenged by former Mayor James K. Schatz and Robert “Bob” Hathman.
In the Sullivan School District incumbents Patty Waller and Tammy Watz did not seek re-election. Four new candidates have filed for the two, three-year-terms. Those filing were: Robby Berti, Randy Carey, Randy Stack and Ed Merrell.
In the Strain Japan School District three people have filed for two, three-year seats. The candidates are: John Licklider, Penny Wells and Aloma Rackley. The district will also fill a one year unexpired term with candidates Dawn Bristow and Shelly Jirus seeking the position.
The Spring Bluff School District will not have an election on April 6, as incumbents Jeff Holland and Jim Goodman were the only candidates to file.
