A felony theft charge against Bourbon school board president Darrel Bosse was dismissed on Jan. 13 in the Crawford County Circuit Court.

Bosse’s former employer, Clyde Cremer, filed a criminal complaint against Bosse on Aug. 28, 2009 claiming that Bosse received payments of over $25,000 and failed to deposit the payments into the company account.

Bosse was arrested on Sept. 28. Bosse’s  attorney, David  Smith,  sent a letter  to the Independent News  saying that Cremer never provided documentation and proof to support his accusations.

More details on Bosse’s case will be available in the Jan. 27 issue of the Independent News.
