Dear Editor,
Pacific aldermen “unanimously” voted to raise all “elected” officials’ salaries.  Where are their principles? What happened to Citizen Statesmen?
Social Security COLA is frozen; we have huge unemployment. If you are working, did you get an increase in your salary, or are you just thankful to have a job?
Our “elected” in Pacific also think it is OK to have an Insurance Company pitch their product to employees “individually on city paid time.”
This is your tax dollar…at work?
Vote Out All Encumbents — Local, County, State, Federal, Court level. No matter what city/county you live in. Get Up, Get Out, Get  Involved!
Run for office…think you don’t have the knowledge, think again! Do you have a sense of right and wrong, common sense? That’s all you need; the rest will come naturally and honestly.
I will actively support your campaigns to throw the bums out.
