Investigators concluded processing the scene of the explosion late yesterday afternoon.  The exact cause of the explosion has still not been determined.
Investigators determined that there was a propane tank located near a turkey fryer in the basement.  They also located a mushroom growing operation inside and outside of the residence.  It cannot be determined what type, legal or illegal, mushrooms were  being grown.  The growing process involves several steps involving straw, corn, and manure.  There was a large quantity of horse manure in the basement.  There were also chemicals and other flammable material that were being used to sterilize the manure, straw and corn as part of the process.    The ignition source, and what substance that actually ignited is not known at this time.

Further investigation is being conducted through interviews of possible witnesses.
