U. S. Eastern District Acting Attorney Michael W. Reap announced on Wed., Oct. 14 that an illegal alien was arrested in Franklin County after reentering the United States illegally for a second time.
According to Reap, Jesus Payan-Audelo, 24, Mexico, was indicted on Wednesday for reentering the United States after being previously deported. He was arrested by Union Police on Sept. 17.
If convicted, Audelo faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
