This exciting event will feature crafts, food, and fun Halloween activities! Join them and learn about Halloween’s past and present as they explore the true story of Halloween!
If you make, demonstrate or sell crafts associated with Halloween or the fall harvest, you may be interested in participating in this event. They are looking for crafters, vendors and demonstrators to join them in interpreting the history or traditions of Halloween.
Half-priced Onondaga Cave tours will be scheduled throughout the day…and, yes, the bats will be expecting you. Don’t worry, your guide, dressed in costume, will also tell you the true story of the Missouri bats! Stick around for a special evening Halloween program at 7:30 p.m. in the amphitheater.
Activities are scheduled from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. at the park’s Visitor Center. The evening program will be presented in the amphitheater (in the campground) at 7:30 p.m. (at the Visitor Center in the event of rain).
Again, Onondaga Cave tours on this event day, Sat., Oct. 24, will be $5 for adults and $2.50 for children; bring your friends or family for a fun-filled day and learn about the history and traditions of Halloween! Sorry—no reservations for cave tours will be taken that day.
Please call to reserve your free vendor, crafter or demonstration site. You must indicate, in advance, if you need electricity. You will need to bring your own table, chairs and cover or easy up in case of rain.
