Fidelity Communications recently donated $1,000 to the Kids Day Out Scholarship Fund to enable a child otherwise unable to afford it to attend the preschool for an entire year. Operated by Sullivan Christian Church, Kids Day Out is a preschool for 2-to-5 year olds from Sullivan and surrounding communities.
Marsha Thompson, the director, accepts a ceremonial check from Craig Montgomery, public relations manager for Fidelity.
Kids Day Out accepts students from Sullivan, St. Clair, Bourbon, Union, Washington and other area towns. It features a preschool curriculum with daily Bible stories. For more information, call the church at 468-8142.
