HALO, the Sullivan-based animal adoption organization, will be in charge of the concession stand during the Meramec Cluster Dog Show being held at the Sullivan fairgrounds from Sept. 11-14.
The concession stand will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. all four days of the show. Each shift is scheduled to last four hours and volunteers are needed for all shifts or even partial shifts.
If you have ever thought about volunteering to help HALO out but didn’t know quite what you could do, now is the time to step forward.
If you can flip a burger, put a hot dog on a bun or smile while serving a customer, you are just the person HALO is looking for. If you would like to help HALO continue to help homeless cats, kittens, dogs and puppies, please call 573-205-5444 or 573-927-2142.
If you are unable to volunteer, HALO asks that you come out and enjoy the dog show and stop by the concession stand for a snack or lunch. The members of HALO look forward to  seeing you there, either behind the counter or in front of it.
