A 63-year-old Bourbon man has been reported missing to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department.
According to Donna Hunt, California, her brother Bobby “Bob” Goodley, 63, was a resident at the former Westwood Care Center, located off Highway N, a half mile south of the Bourbon city limits.
Goodley is described as a white male, 6′2, between 175 and 180 pounds, gray hair, blue eyes and a gray beard. Goodley is an amputee with one hand. He is in need of medication and has very little money, if any, in his possession.
Goodley was last seen at his mobile home on Sunday, August 2, around 8 a.m., however family members did make contact with him early Monday morning, August 3, by cell phone. Since that time he has not been heard from.
“We are very concerned about my brother and worried because he does not have his medications and is out in the heat,” said Hunt, who has flown in from California to help find her brother. “We are asking that anyone who may have seen him to contact the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department or their local law enforcement office.”
“We’re trying to do anything we can to find Mr. Goodley,” said Crawford County Sheriff Randy Martin. “We’ve sent out statewide notices and are working with the media to locate him.”
Anyone with information on Goodley is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department at 573-775-2125.
A picture of Goodley will be posted on the Sullivan Independent News website very soon.
