The Mid-Missouri Fine Arts Society and the Photojournalism Hall of Fame is sponsor of the Fourth Annual Photography Contest and Exhibit on Sat., July 25 at the Photojournalism Hall of Fame located at 8 West 2nd Street. Entries will be received from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Something new has been added for this year’s show. A junior division for young photographers, ages 12 to 17, is included to offer children a chance to exhibit and compete.
The contest is open to amateur photographers only. Anyone in the surrounding communities are welcome to enter.
Any type of photography accepted, color, black and white, and digital as long as it is an original taken by the entry person in the last three years and has not been entered in our previous shows. Up to two photographs may be entered.
Prizes will be awarded in each division and overall cash and ribbons will be awarded for first, second, third and honorable mentions will be given ribbons.
Applications include information for categories, sizes, fees and rules to enter show. The guidelines for entries and hanging are explained and the rules must be followed.
Professional photographers will be the judges for the exhibit.

Union: East Central College, Scenic Library and Scenic Library in St. Clair.
An opening reception will be held on Sun., July 26 from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. to honor all participants and award the winners. We welcome family, friends and the public.
