Harper is the daughter of Ryan Creek and Amber Small, granddaughter of Don & Kathy Creek and Chris & LeeAnn Small. Harper was diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma on May 6, 2009 at 3 months of age. She has been undergoing chemotherapy and is scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor on her left foot in September. After surgery, she will begin radiation treatment as well as continue on chemotherapy in order to cure her cancer.

This benefit is to help raise money to pay for Harper’s ongoing treatment. She has a long road ahead of her with treatment not scheduled to subside until early spring of 2010. The benefit  will be on August 8th starting at 6 p.m. at Eagles Hall in Sullivan. It will include dinner, auction and dance. Beer and set-ups provided. $25 per person, $45 per couple. Silent auction starts at 6 p.m. Dinner at 7 p.m. Oral Auction at 8 p.m. Dance at 9 p.m.
