Cases Investigated By The Crawford Co. Sheriff’s Office

Sat., May 9 - Crawford County deputies received a report of a lost or stolen license plate from the Sullivan area.
Sun., May 10 - During a traffic stop in the Steelville area, Crawford County deputies recovered a small amount of drug paraphernalia.
The suspect was given a citation for illegal use of drug paraphernalia.
Thurs., May 14 - A Crawford County deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle which was failing to display license plates.
After contacting the driver, it was discovered that the vehicle owner’s license plates had been stolen the previous night and was unnoticed by the driver the following morning.
A report was taken roadside for the lost/stolen license plate.
Thurs., May 21 - Crawford County deputies took a report of a burglary at a residence where someone had forced the front door open to the complainant’s residence while the complainant was gone.
The complainant had a laptop computer that was stolen from inside the residence.
Suspect information was obtained and further investigations will continue.
