Franklin County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is looking for a few good men (and woman) to become CASA volunteers for their next training session. CASA volunteers advocate for the best interest of children who are in foster care.
The goal of a CASA volunteer is to gather facts and be the “voice” for the child so the judge and juvenile team can make the best decisions regarding permanency for the child.
If you are touched or bothered by the child abuse stories you read in the paper or see on TV, consider CASA as an avenue for you to do something positive for these children.
Anyone interested in learning more about the program should call (636) 583-4422 and/or view their website at www.franklincountycasa.com.
