Parks Department Ready For July 4 Fireworks Display

Blood Drive Honors Crow

The Missouri Baptist Hospital, Hospital Auxiliary and City of Sullivan held an American Red Cross Blood Drive at the Sullivan Senior Center on Mon., June 15. Dean Crow was honored with an award for donating blood 173 times. Also honored was Walter Woods who has donated 151 times.  Read More »

Fallen Soldier Honored By Communities As He Returns Home

Six Franklin County People Sentenced On Federal Methamphetamine Charges

Six Franklin County area people have been sentenced within the last week on federal methamphetamine charges, Acting U.S. Attorney Michael W. Reap announced Thursday. Franklin Whited, 43, St. Clair, sentenced on June 10 to 188 months in prison. Rebecca Whited, 42, St. Clair, sentenced on June 10 to 37 months in prison. Felony Roundup Puts 54 Behind Bars In County

A felony roundup by Franklin County authorities has put 54 people behind bars in one of the largest roundups in county history. Franklin County authorities reported that the roundup began at 6 a.m. on Tuesday and, by that evening, some 40 people were in custody and the remaining 14 were arrested on Wednesday and Thursday. Cultural Grants Awarded
